Jesus is playful
Once you get to know him
He came for more than religion
He came to reveal the Kingdom
Welcoming those who understand
that God has to be at the center
That when you become a minor chord
and let God be the Major
your world plays together
like children in harmony
and you'll be filled
with joy beyond circumstance
A Kingdom To Live In
Over the years, I've found that every tradition has its own idea about Jesus. Who he was. What his role is.
But everyone I've met who has formed a relationship with him will speak to his Goodness and playfulness.
Jesus knows that God's Civilization cannot be owned by us ~ that it has many ceilings, but no walls.
He knows that healthy boundaries don't require walls. Wisdom knows how to respond without fear and separation.
This Kingdom of God has many ambassadors — many different churches and temples — yet you know it when you see it. Love opens into greater love, truth into deeper truth, and the path grows more joyful as pride and rigidity fall away.
This is the invitation of the Church of Only Ceilings: to work with God, Jesus, the animals, the land, technology, and one another to cultivate the Kingdom.
